Watermain flushing will take place beginning October 7. This year, crews will begin in the Garibaldi Highlands/Quest University area.
Dead end flushing, which removes any stagnant water and unwanted build up in the pipes, will take place throughout Squamish.
Impact: During flushing, there may be brief periods when the water becomes cloudy, discoloured or have a mild chlorine taste, however the water remains safe to drink. If you experience these, please flush your taps by running water until clear.
Timeframe: Through mid-November.
