Great idea, this will make it easier for cyclists to get through the bottleneck at the roundabout.
I have a request for the other roundabout, the one at the east end of The Boulevard. Please install a couple of speed bumps to slow down the traffic coming down the hill from Quest (heading west). They rarely slow down and go zooming into the roundabout. The sight lines are not good as there is a hedge which blocks the view if you are on Perth entering the roundabout.
